Other possible consequences can include:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\r\n \t<li>Refusal of the current application<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Refusal of future temporary residence applications<\/li>\r\n \t<li>An exclusion or removal order<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Loss of temporary or permanent resident status through the applicable legal process<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Greater scrutiny of later immigration applications<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Separate citizenship consequences in relevant cases<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The exact consequence depends on the person\u2019s status and circumstances. A five-year period does not mean every future application will automatically be approved when the period ends.
